Whether you’re driven by fear or dreams and aspirations, find out what motivates you. Tell any and everyone about your ambitions to own up to your commitment to health & happiness. Behavioral studies show that people are more likely to achieve their goals when they share their aspirations with others. It creates accountability and taps into your support system to help keep you on track. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals and don’t let a Debbie Downer pull you down just because misery loves company.

Post pictures and motivational quotes in plain site for daily reminders of your goals. Visual reminders will help you fake it ’til you make it.

Knowing is half the battle, so find out what triggers you and avoid them like the plague. Don’t forget to stay positive and ask yourself on a regular basis, “Are my actions right now helping me get closer to where I want to be?”
